Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) The Psychology Board of Australia is the National Board for the psychology profession in Australia.
Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) The Australian Psychology Accreditation Council is the external accreditation entity for the Psychology Profession in Australia under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009. They determine whether programs of study for students seeking to practice as a registered psychologist in Australia meet the required education standards. Search for accredited courses here
NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) NESA are the NSW government statutory authority who monitor the quality of teaching, learning, assessment and school standards in New South Wales. Find out more about accreditation as a teacher in NSW here
NSW Department of Education, School Counselling Service The NSW Department of Education employees School Counsellors and School Psychologists. To find out more about the roles and employment pathways click here.
NSW Department of Education, Sponsorship Program The NSW Department of Education will sponsor teachers to complete third year psychology subjects as a precursor for the School Counsellor in Training Program. Read more here
NSW Department of Education, School Counselling Service Scholarship The NSW Department of Education provides Rural and Metropolitan scholarships for graduates to become a school counsellor or school psychologist. Read more here.
University of Wollongong Course Information The Master of Professional Psychology (School Psychology) specialisation is for graduates of a four-year accredited psychology program who are interested in pursuing a career as a school psychologist. This specialisation is only available to applicants who hold a graduate scholarship offered by the NSW Department of Education.
Charles Sturt University Course Information

The Master of Professional Psychology from Charles Sturt University provides a fifth year of professional training in psychology for fourth-year Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC)-accredited psychology graduates. You can also choose to specialise in school psychology.
